Representatives of Oculus recently made a 20,000 Kuna donation to Varaždin General Hospital. The signing ceremony of the donation contract with hospital director Dr. Nenad Kudelić, was held at the end of February. On this occasion, company managing director, Stanko Kočevar, explained how they decided to make this important contribution, “
"We decided to make this donation to Varaždin General Hospital given its highly complex operations, and the fact that it serves about 170,000 inhabitants of Varažin County and a large population in the neighbouring counties. We are pleased that the donated funds will be used to improve the work of the hospital, its doctors and other medical professionals" said Kočevar.
This donation is a continuation of Oculus' ongoing efforts to support the community it operates in and where the majority of their over one hundred employees reside.
“As a social responsible company, we strive to be a true partner to the community and we are prepared to take our share of responsibility in caring for our society. We would like to invite other companies to embrace their social responsibility and donate funds for the general benefit and their own social community,” stated the Oculus CEO.
